I'm a mom; a much-loved one by my three kids. But I can be a somewhat unwilling one some days, as I also have a life as a freelance writer and editor.
I love it. The Olympics have always been family viewing for us, along with such competitions when our children were younger. Now my son and his family watch - I heard the girls chanting "USA USA USA" when I called him earlier this week. Have fun at the games.
