Nary a bubble skirt to be seen

Thank goodness!

Being sick means I've missed the NY fall fashion shows. But NY magazine has a good wrap up, with photos.

No bubble skirts. Normal, cute slip dresses. Suits I'd wear.

The insanity is over, thank God.

I hear ya! Last week's Time Out New York was its fashion issue, and it featured stirrup pants at one point. I thought, "Um, not so 'now' anymore, folks."

I eagerly await the day when I do not see bubble skirts, leggings under dresses or leggings topped by too-short miniskirts during my commute. There have been many "Someone should tell her" moments this summer...
